Job Description:

Education and Work Experience

• College Degree ( technical area preferred ) or equivalent industry experience

• Excellent Phone and communication skills - ability to convey courtesy, professionalism and confidence

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Must be proficient with most aspects of Windows systems administration including, Systems & Network installation / Implementation and configuration, troubleshooting, security management.

• Technical experience with the following technologies: Remote Access, Firewalls ( Juniper / Cisco / Checkpoint / IIS / Zone Alarm), VPN ( Nortel / Cisco /SSL), TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi, CDMA, Radius, and RSA (Preferred).

• Planning and installation of third party software.

• Proven problem analysis and troubleshooting skills, self reliance

• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and demonstrate excellent time management skills in a fast-paced customer environment

• Proven team player and strong interpersonal skills ; should be proactive in providing suggestions and solutions for continuous team improvement

Desired Profile:

This role will work on engineering requests and provide day-to-day Technical support. The ideal candidate will possess a broad perspective of Network / Server / Desktop technologies and how they interrelate to positively affect the productivity of our External clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Resolution of all problems, changes, and information requests; including accurate and timely logging of information into tracking systems

• Complete ownership, frequent follow-up (daily or more), and customer contact on all assigned tasks

• Availability to handle overflow calls, e-mails or other requests, during assigned shifts

• Regular on-call support, nights and weekends

• Quickly learn new technologies, products, and service offerings

• Appropriate escalation of issues to management, internal departments, and vendors

• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager
